Hiya & happy Friday! A little delayed this week with Links We Love. With the weather being so nice here in Baltimore we have been taking advantage of walks outside and grilling outdoors. These last few weeks have been different here as businesses are starting to open up with different capacity levels. I know many people are excited but something in me still feels off about going to sit and dine at a restaurant. I think Phillip and I will continue cooking like we always do with an occasional carry out night. As homebodies, we are truly loving that we have an excuse to stay home night after night and cozy up with cocktail on the deck!
Now, onto the links…
Recipes we made last week:
- Simple Thai Salmon Salad
- Buffalo Chicken Pot Pit
See there are some positives with letting dogs sleep in bed with you.
I always love seeing where movies were filmed. These are some amazing side-by-sides.
This year was the first time Phillip and I decided to have a garden box and, well, we do not have the greenest thumb but there’s always next year. Well, have to look at this guide for herbs that grow together.
Creating and tracking goals is a skill in my opinion. Check out these tips to make your goals and resolutions happen.
With everyone working from home right now and more companies announcing this policy will continue into the future, here’s a guide to a daily post-work ritual. It may sound silly but not having the routine anymore of walking to my garage and then driving home really has kept the stress from the work day into my night. And that is a big no-no to share on Links We Love.
On a similar topic read how saying “no” is a form of self-care. Even at work, remind yourself that you are only one person and if your plate is full it’s time to start delegating.
Things I love this week:
- This top is adorable for summer
- Classic striped beach towels are a need for us
- We started using the OXO GreenSaver collection and are so happy with how log our fresh veggies are lasting in quarantine
For everyone who is nervous to start working out, here’s some good news. You are never too old to regain that lost muscle!!!
The age-old question I feel needs to be addressed in this week’s Links We Love, do I really need to shower every single day? I already refuse to wash my hair every day.
Do you need a brain break? I sure, do. The days seem to run together some time and this is a great way to stop and turn off from your focus for a while.
This team creating AMAZING costumes and backgrounds for their daily calls from home has my howling!!
Well, that’s it for this week, check out Marvelous Munch next Thursday for more Links We Love!
