Strawberry Mojitos, need I say more. This sweet cocktail is sure to make you feel like you are laying on a beach drinking this with little umbrella in it and your sunnies on. But here I am sitting on my couch writing this post in the dead of winter drinking this AMAZING drink. That reminds me, I really need to order some swizzle sticks so I can make this again.

I have to say, it does make the 55 degree weather here and Baltimore a little more bearable. So fresh, this drink has muddled strawberries, mint leaves, simple syrup, sprite, lime juice, and oh yea, rum! Mixed together to perfection. Pretty much the perfect concoction. And apparently just as good in the middle of the winter as it is in the summer.

There are always those drinks you believe are seasonal. Hot Toddys in the winter and Sangria in the summer. But do they really have to be?
Anytime you drink rum it is as if you’re on board a beautiful boat in 85 degree weather, bikini on, sunnie on, and sun beating down on you until you feel toasty warm all the way to your core. And well, the only thing on board to cool you off is rum! You can’t say no. So what do you do, mix up this Strawberry Mojito to feel refreshed again.

I do wish that scenario was the case right now. But as it just began getting windy and cold outside, I am snapped back to the reality that I will have to bundle up and brace the cold in a few hours. I can sip on this Strawberry Mojito a little longer and pretend I am out at sea in the warm sun a little longer, can’t I?
From our kitchen to your, cheers!
